The Alpha Course – a 12-week course designed for those with questions about the Christian faith or who want to investigate and explore Christianity. Evenings consists of a meal together, video teaching and small group discussions, where guests are encouraged to ask questions and express opinions. For more information contact
Life Skills - Life Skills uses the 28-week “Learning to Live, Learning to Love” curriculum in a class room setting to men and women, meeting separately. This course, although originally formulated to address the concerns of abusive situations, offers tools to enrich and “fine tune” any relationship. Class members, including married and single adults, are taught how to help break patterns of the past in order to establish balance and health in relationships.
The Journey – a 10-week course taught by pastors and ministry leaders and open to everyone at South Hills to help them grow further in the basics of faith. It also serves as a next step for Alpha graduates. Dinner and teaching is followed by worship, prayer and small group discussion. Contact Elena @ 408.414.3003.
Men’s Ministries – meet for dinner and a study with an emphasis on application Wednesday evenings. There is a monthly “Breakfast of Champions” held Saturday mornings with guest speakers; and small groups are offered, focusing on connecting, accountability, prayer or Bible study. Women's Ministries - on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings women meet for Bible studies throughout the school year. Nursery and children's Bible programs are available on Thursday mornings.
We offer a variety of events to which you can invite your friends, such as: Cooking and Hospitality classes, Christmas celebration, etc... Our weekend retreat is held in March every other year. |
