What is Alpha for?

An eleven-week course that is a practical exploration of the Christian faith.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages are welcome, no matter where you are on your faith journey or what your spiritual background is.

Learning and laughter. .
It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and to have fun at the same time. The teaching presented on video covers the basics of the Christian faith.

Pasta!
Each meeting starts with a meal and an opportunity to get to know each other and to make new friends.

Helping one another.
The small group gives you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks. The agenda is yours!

Ask anything.
Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too simple or too hostile.

What Happens at Alpha?

We talk about:

Jesus- who He is and why He died?
The Bible- why and how should I read it?
Prayer- how do I pray - and why?
God- does He heal today, how does He guide us?
And what about the Church, the Holy Spirit?
And much more besides.

What will it cost?

There is no charge for the Alpha course.
