Cornerstone Preschool and Kindergarten is a state licensed preschool and childcare center owned and operated by South Hills Community Church. Cornerstone serves the surrounding communities by providing a quality preschool for children ages 3 to 5 years and Kindergarten for children ages 5-6 years. Childcare is offered before and after school as needed. Cornerstone operates Monday through Friday and offers a variety of program schedules. Cornerstone is a developmentally appropriate educational program enveloped in a Christian environment. Cornerstone is open to the public.
 
Enrollment is now being accepted for Preschool and Kindergarten for the Fall 2013/14 school term. Children ages 3 years to 6 years are eligible for our preschool program. 5 days, 3 days, or 2 days a week – 9:00 am – 12:15 pm programs are available. Children turning five years by October 2 are eligible for our Kindergarten program. Kindergarten runs Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. Childcare is available before and after Preschool and Kindergarten. Transitional Kindergarten students are eligible for either the Preschool or Kindergarten program. Children ages 3 years – entering First Grade - 8 weeks, June 17- Aug. 9. Each week has a unique theme, so families can sign up for one or several weeks as desired. Each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm daily. Childcare, before and after camp, is available if needed. Theme related activities include art, science, music, movement, games, language arts, dramatic play, and daily devotions. Fun is the focus. Students entering Kindergarten or First Grade - 3 weeks, July 22 - Aug. 9 – Families can sign up for one, two, or all three weeks. Each session is filled with language, math, science, art, music, and physical activity – with a special emphasis on one of the core content areas each week. Students will engage in games, projects, and exploration designed to facilitate teamwork, build confidence and develop critical thinking skills. These camps have an academic focus. The goal is to use fun activities to prepare students for the formal learning of the fall school term.
