Food Closet Ministry - Food closet ministry is the 3^rd Wednesday of the month, from 9AM - 1PM, Youth Hall. We sort, bag and give out food for the needy. If you are interested in helping email or call at 414.3022.

English as a Second Language - for members of this culturally diverse community we offer free classes at a variety of times and locations. Classes include conversation, reading comprehension and American culture. Call Dorothy Swan at 997-1750.

Stephen Ministry – a program that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian, one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances. For more information email or call at 414.3022.

Kids Club - We give kids opportunities to hear Bible stories, music, use crafts, games, and participate in grade level small groups. This gives every young person an opportunity to learn about Jesus and follow him. Parents are welcome to observe and/or help out. Club takes place at Almaden Elementary after school each Tuesday. Almaden Kid’s Club needs a Director: We are looking for someone with:

• Ability to lead a dedicated team that is very committed
• A heart to reach under privileged/ un-churched children with the gospel
• Understands the need to pray before taking action
• Ability to find and or develop Bible based curriculum for grade-school aged children
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not a must
• Must be able to follow rules to the letter for working in public schools
• Ability to teach is a plus
• Available on Tuesdays during the school year
